Current Rates

Rates are shown per unit you recognise — per message, per image, or per page — inclusive of GST. Only four applications consume metered usage (Photo Booth, Dynamic Print, Scan to Audio, Language Translator); the other eleven use neither AI nor SMS and are not charged for usage.

SMS is charged at 9.9c (inc GST) per message. $5 covers about 50 SMS, or a month of typical AI use on one device. The per-app AI rates are being finalised and will be published here before they take effect. Figures are indicative and rounded; actual usage depends on message and document size. Usage is metered by cost only — document content is never stored (see AI Data Handling).

SMS Daily Limit

To protect against misuse, a daily SMS limit of 50 messages per device applies. This limit is the published figure referred to in clause 9A.6 of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for having each recipient's consent to be messaged and for complying with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Fair-Use Ceiling

To protect the service against misuse and runaway consumption, a monthly ceiling applies to each device. The ceiling is the higher of $50 of usage, or 150% of that device's own established monthly usage — so it rises as your normal usage grows.

Established usage is the median of the last three complete months, so a single unusual month doesn't distort it. New devices use the $50 floor until three complete months of history exist. This ceiling is the published figure referred to in clause 9A.4 of the Terms of Service.

Rate of Consumption

A short-interval limit also applies — no more than 25% of your monthly ceiling in any one hour. This catches misconfigured or looping jobs before they consume a month's usage in minutes. Reaching it pauses metered features and notifies you; it does not affect the non-metered applications.

How Rates Change

Rate changes follow our published supply costs — principally the charges of our AI and messaging providers and currency movements. Any change:

• takes effect on at least 30 days' notice;
• applies only to usage occurring after the effective date; and
• never reprices prepaid credit you have already purchased — that is always applied at the rate in force when you bought it.
